NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Huntington Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Huntington Township Municipal Building, 750 Trolley Road, York Springs, PA 17372. The purpose of the hearing is to consider the application of Timothy J. Spangler and Lisa Spangler relating to property known as 300 Mud Run Road, York Springs, PA 17372 (Adams County Tax Parcel No. 22I06-0010---000). The property is in the Agricultural-Conservation (AC) zoning district. The applicants propose to subdivide the property to create three lots, with new, single-family, detached dwellings to be constructed on two of the newly created lots. The applicants seek a variance from Section 27-505 of the Huntington Township Zoning Ordinance to permit the two lots upon which the new dwellings will be constructed to exceed the two-acre maximum permitted in the district. Both of said lots will also remain in agricultural use.
